He really is self centred. Constantly caught up in his own head and how he feels about things that he doesn't stop to evaluate anyone else (unless it directly affects how he wants things to go)

It's gross. I really wish I didn't see this side of him in such plain black and white. Where you could kind of excuse it away from Bella's POV, he comes here and confirms it.
