Allyson This is how the book starts out. I want to say this happens in Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, maybe even Nebraska. I really thought this book was by one of the heavy hitters of the early 90s- Sandra Brown, Linda Howard, Julie Garwood, etc., but I'm not finding it in any of those authors catalogs. I believe that while they are in the car together, she hears an APB for escaped convicts (H escaped with other inmates, who were in fact bad guys).

"White Out"

In the midst of an Idaho blizzard, Hope Bradshaw offers shelter to a stranger -- and an instant, hungry passion flares between them. When a radio bulletin warns of a dangerous escaped convict, her blood runs cold: has desire blinded her to the risks of trusting a man who is an expert at covering his tracks?

Allyson OMG!! I think the Judith McNaught book might be it!! I can’t tell you how much time I’ve spent wracking my brain for this book. Thank you!!

Here's the Google Books preview of Perfect by Judith McNaught - Aerulan's suggestion:

https://books.google.com/books?id=KjM... There are different cover images.

Should we mark your request as Solved?

Allyson I’m going to read the beginning of the book on Amazon and will report back.

Allyson I think we can call this one solved. Thanks so much for the help!!
