So Lara and her twenty halfsisters were all trained for something, but she wasn’t chosen as the one who’d marry the enemy, yet she wanted to so she killed them all?:O intense girl, brutal??? She’s not likeable so far for sure lol Marylyn sounded way better. Oh shit she didn’t actually kill them - they’ll definitely be coming for revenge then…

her kingdom is in a terrible state for sure, her father is clearly the real bad guy here, I mean he literally threatened her so… They arrived in Ithicana! Seems cool so far, not sure why but it reminds me of the little mermaid. Aren seems interesting so far, love that we get chapters from him too. He has a twin sister Ahnna & no clue that Lara isn’t a sweet little girl lol. She’s definitely the sort of woman he’s looking for tho lol, love that they’re already married! Liking it so far. I already love their chemistry and the pool scene - it was fucking great lmao. He’s going to love her. Ahnna seems cool too, although a bit odd. (hide spoiler)]

Lara brought them to sleep eheheh, their kiss was already hot tho yay ehehe. And apparently he was her first kiss? Interesting. I’m already dreading the moment where he’ll find out about her betrayal :( she’s obsessed with water lmao she’s been in or on water for like 90% of the story so far. And the snakes ew!! There are so many here. I wonder what Eranahl is, it’s clearly important. Aren doesn’t seem so bad - he just wants to protect his country. Ehehe he’s so confused by her already. And wait, did Aren sleep with this Lia chick, his watch, in the past?

It doesn’t seem logical for him to send her letter honestly - why risk it??? I’ve just finished another book that featured a Rask lol & I hadn’t ever heard that name before that, odd that it’s now two times lol. Wait they can go in the bridge instead of on it? They’re slooooowly becoming closer. Damn her training was brutal, the dream/flashback to her sisters torturing her was insane. Can’t believe they made them mistreat each other. Serin sucks too, I don't trust his ass. So she can’t swim omg that’s going to be trouble!! Nana is also definitely trouble, I’m so surprised that she was a spy in Lara’s father’s harem!!!! And she’s slowly realizing how little she really knows, I loved her fighting in the war. I can’t wait for Aren to find out how badass she really js lol. Also can’t wait to find out what’s going on with the Amaridaans and the bridge. Also not sure whether I trust Jor. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[It seems like Aren is fighting with Amaridaan’s queen - what did he do to her? I wonder whether they’re working with Lara’s father, because the interaction in the fight seemed weird. And Eranahl seems to be a safe haven. Gosh I thought she’d kill nana for a second lmao, but she’s definitely suspicious as hell. And the snakes ew, can’t believe Nana is keeping them. Lara got back just in time aaah!! Loving the suspense and mystery, although I already feel so bad about the heartbreak :( the war is brewing, although her father might not count on Valcotta barring their attack. The fighting is quite frequent but I really love the action and how Lara is slowly starting to care. I love how she grabbed the wounded and helped :’) can’t wait for her to help fighting tho. I wonder if they’ll be mad when they find out she can actually fight.

They all finally respect her fuck yes 🥹🥹 they’re slowly opening up fuck me it hurts. And he’s so into her lmao. I’m already in SO much pain over the betrayal and it’s not even here yet shite 😭😭😭 I really hope they’ll give Ithicana a better life after this, bc it really isn’t life :( nooo she wrote the info on all the letters so it’ll reach her father and I hate it 😭😭 it’s so clear that he’s been lying, and I thought she saw that as well dammit. She’s finally seeing that her father isn’t great and omg I’m here for it - I can’t believe he lowered the taxes on weapons though dammit Aren! He’s taking her home omg no I’m so so not ready for the betrayal 😭😭😭 she finally realizes the truth damn took you long enough! And Aren sees she’s a spy omg. Gosh he followed her but she didn’t betray him yet - I hope she’ll burn his letters when they’re back in Ithicana :( oh she wanted to kill her father damn she should’ve. She chose his side yay!! Maybe their lies are finally over then, but the info on the pages is definitely going to reach her father anyway and I’m fucking scared. I’m so dreading the end, I’m almost ready to stop reading :(

I wish she’d just tell aren about her plan to stop her father and what she did, bc he clearly already knows about her identity dammit Lara! Seriously, why would she not tell him about the letters???? He already knows everything else ugh this is just unnecessarily creating drama. Holy shit Ahnna accidentally knocked Lara in the water & Aren saved her - just!!! It was so cute and perfect aw I’m not ready for the heartbreak, I keep dreading it. Maybe I should stop here and gaslight myself into thinking this is the happy ending 🤣🤣 Poor Ahnna, I totally get that she doesn’t trust Lara, especially seeing her with her mothers necklace :( I wish Aren would treat Ahnna better. Love that he finally took Lara to Eranahl though.

Ugh I knew Marylyn would be trouble, I hate that Eli’s dead :( damn she killed Marylyn, who was evil af, but her other sisters might be nice still. Nooo Taryn died too fucking hell Lara!!! Ugh this drama is so unnecessary, it makes NO SENSE that she didn’t tell him about the letters but did tell him everything else, this fucking sucks. He shot at her dammit :(

what an ending, she finally showed the others who she is to save Aren - and she’ll probably involve her sisters too! I love that. Hope they’ll work with her and believe her. But I mean, her father is searching for them too, he must be? And how is she supposed to find them before him? Don’t think they stuck together but okay.

I'd be fucking pissed that she was hiding those fighting skills and thus could've helped them in fights but ok. Although the drama felt unnecessary and Lara reminded me a lot of Aelin, I liked it a lot! Mostly the chemistry and banter between them, but also the interesting world. Want to read the next one too?
