I thought the valerian was yet to come out . . . Or am I thinking of a new edition?
Loved Clowes Patience. I have mine next to his complete eight ball (eightball looks so good on the shelf)

Hey Erik, looks like Valerian Vol.1 comes out tomorrow in the states. It came out about a month ago in the UK. It's a large book (tall & wide) and has some great extra content at the start with commentary from the creators and Luc Besson.

Thanks Nick! The dustcover is a bit beat up but the book/spine were in good shape. I don't think I can afford what people want for a new or like new copy! Hope you find your copy soon!

All Star Batman HC Vol 1
Batman Death and the Maidens DLX HC
Batman Year 100 DLX HC
Batman Gothic DLX HC
Nameless DLX HC
Early birthday presents for myself : )

Since you're in Europe if your trying to sell something just "ring me" You may have something I want.

Stan is the Man!
I made it my mission to meet him the last few years and got my picture with him. Anybody else met him yet? With his health deteriorating, he's already canceling numerous appearances.

Bought a used copy of Astro City: Shining Stars for a good price. Been slowly buying the early hardcovers when people aren't selling them for a ridiculous amount.
I decided that even if there is the eventual omnibus, I'm happy with the ones I have.

Are they any green arrow runs that are real quality? I'd like to read the character, thanks!

I'd recommend:
Mike Grell's The Longbow Hunters - no oversized collection that I know of
Kevin Smith's Quiver - in absolute form
O'Neill's/Adams Green Lantern/Green Arrow - in absolute form. This is from the 70's lots of political stories which arrow is very liberal.
This isn't my favorite and not bad but is a modern version of his origin: Green Arrow Year One by Diggke/Jock. I believe it is in Deluxe hc.

Deadly Hands Of Kung Fu Omnibus vol 2 (two covers)
Goon Library Edition Vol 05
Lumberjanes HC Vol 03
Spider-Man By Michelinie And Larsen Omnibus HC
Star Wars OHC Vol 02 (two covers)
Too Much Coffee Man Omnibus Plus HC
Walt Disney Donald Duck Newspaper Comics HC Vol 04

Walt Disney Donald Duck Newspaper Comics HC Vol 04

Plague of Frogs 1-3, BPRD 1946-48, and Hellboy Library Edition 1 all on the way.

I'll probably pick up the Goon LE and Star Wars OHC.
I think there's nothing coming out for me in June, maybe even July, so I might finally pick up an Artist Edition.

It'll be worth it, even for triple dippers like myself, because not only is it properly collecting his Avengers/New Avengers run from their beginnings all the way through infinity, but you also get some of Hickman's earliest work at marvel now in over-sized format, these comics being:
The Astonishing Tales shorts that involved Cannonball and Sunspot and Mojo, drawn by Nick Pitarra of Manhattan Projects. Definitely entertaining—Hickman even draws a few pages.
The other one is this strange deadpool/shang chi short. I think it may have been Hickman's first published story at Marvel. Hickman writing Deadpool.
Bummed that his Living Mummy short from Legion of Monsters Satana isn't collected. He drew all those pages and they're pretty amazing. Maybe this will be in the Vol 2. Omnibus? Please? One can dream.
If you're asking about the quality of the run then...yes, it is good. Very good.

I'm more into cosmic stuff and haven't following comics for so long, so I don't know if it's going to fit my taste.

haha...oh it'll fit your taste.
It may be an "Avengers" run, but this is cosmic level stuff through and through.
Oh yeah and Infinity is included in this upcoming omni––ok not the "entire" event, thats like 50+ issues of variant quality––but it will collect the entire Infinity OHC, which is what I think you were referring to.

AD After Death Book One
Tokyo Ghost DCBS variant
Other Side Special Edition
Kill or be killed V2

You should look at a few of the Image books coming in July. Tokyo Ghost by Remender, Reborn by Millar and Capullo on art, and Green Valley. I'm not as familiar with Green Valley but I've heard good things and the art looks decent so I'm going to give it a shot.
Sept/Oct are both going to be expensive with multiple omnibus volumes I'll want to add to the library each month.

I forgot about Tokyo ghost. Any idea if the variant comes out the same week?
Yeah I've got multiple omnibus at the end of the year.

haha idk man I would just read it if you want to; I absolutely understand the whole "read it in order" vibe, but yeah...that FF vol. 1 omni is hard to find, and then its ridiculously expensive when it is found.
But hey, miracles do happen, I'm about to post a pic of something I once thought as a laughable impossibility, so remain vigilant in your scoping of the ebays.
Anyway, to stay on topic, I have Absolute Y Vol. 3 this month, and then the hickman omni in that first week of July.

Found the Death of Captain America Omnibus for an incredibly reasonable price––white whale that it is––on ebay, which completed the entire Brubaker run!
I was a few issues into The Trial of Captain America Omnibus, but now that its all collected, I think I'll start it over again and do a tighter, more focused read. Should be grand!

Nice one, my favourite series after preacher.
Nice find on the death of cap. I'm still searching for that one as well.
And nice pics! I see you have the original FF Omnibus before they settled on the new design.

Just to try to put Sep/Oct in perspective - Let's look at the month of Sep for just Absolutes and omnibus volumes (it is likely these dates are the book publisher release dates and the IST release date will be a week earlier. I think they are set for release the same day but not sure. Irredeemable HC vol 4 comes out in July too. I think you were picking those up as well?
guanaeps, great pick up on the Captain America book! Love the shelves. You have some good stuff there to read once you are done with Cap. :)
