What have you added to your collection recently?

Whats is your reading % of your collection? (just some broad numbers...)
I think mine is about 30%...."
about the same 30%. I prefer to stare at them with glee.

The second half of the book is a large cover gallery of Ross' art. A Marvels omni is a great idea!
I see some unused statue space on top of those black shelves Eric. :p
Looking like a great collection. I hope you like Velvet. I found it pretty enjoyable.

@Bruno 100% because I can't afford all I want to read. Although Doom Patrol omnibus has slowed me down this week : )

I'd estimate my completion rate to be about 80-90%. I definitely have a decent number that are unread, but I try not to let my buying outpace my reading by too much.

Dmz deluxe volume 3
Criminal deluxe book one (oop so is the 2nd one hopefully I find it for a good price some day)

I've researched insuring my statue collection but was waiting for that to stop growing. Now that it has I'll probably look into it again and include the hardcovers.
Along with insurance, make sure you document what you have. If it gets destroyed the insurance company will want some sort of proof of what you owned. So all these pictures (or Youtube videos) of your collection are actually really good for that sort of thing. :)

What about some Dehumidifier equipment? Those are usually cheap...

Understood. A few more months and they'll be walking, creating a whole new set of worries. :)

it might be a little off topic but, I´m trying to get as much as I can of marvel cosmic, so I´ve grabbed (omnibuses) War of Kings, Realm and Road, annihilation/conquest (tpbs), Tpbs for almost every thanos appearance and now I´m thinking of getting GOTG omnibus by Jim valentino (don´t know if you guys recommend it?), so my question is: Is there anymore omnibus that I can get (Besides maybe FF)?
Thanks in advance

The biggest problem with collecting this kind of stuff is drawing the line at what you consider 'cosmic'; I'd say the following omnibuses certainly count:
Silver Surfer
The Eternals
Guardiams of the Galaxy Solo Classics
Guardians by Bendis
Secret Wars I (maybe II)
Planet Hulk
Hickman's Avengers
John Carter: Warlord of Mars
As for the most noteworthy, non-omnibussed, non-Thanos cosmic stories, off the top of my head: The Dark Phoenix Saga, The Kree-Skrull War, Operation: Galactic Storm, The Coming of Galactus, The Korvac Saga, The Magus Saga, The Trial of Galactus, Silver Surfer: Parable, & Silver Surfer: Requiem. I'm sure there are plenty of others I've forgotten about.

Wow!!awesome!
Thanks Ooh_jim
SS Requiem I already bought it.

Its fun. Too many guest stars but its mostly a fun run.

Yeah I did not like that run. Too many guest appearances, too much time spent on Earth, characters written to follow their movie personalities in stead of the traits established in the comics, overly Bendisy dialogue, mediocre plots bogged down by events & crossovers. The list goes on.
Of course this is just one man's bitter opinion - the title sold fairly well so your milage may vary.
I think the biggest dissapointment is that the shift in tone from the DNA run could have worked well. After all of the war and high drama from Annihilation to Thanos Imperative, changing it up by having the bunch of scrappy ex-cons getting up to low key mischief, Firefly-style, sounded great in theory.

Funny, that sounds like my list of dislikes for nearly every Marvel Bendis comic I've read (except for Alias.) I guess that makes us two bitter men...

I've not got round to my Alias and Daredevil omnibusses, but I'm looking forward to them. I'm not autimatically averse to Bendis as a writer - I liked House of M, I thought his UXM was good, although the anticlimactic ending was a bit of a shame. ANXM wasn't bad, but not really for me, and what I've read of his Avengers stuff seemed alright.
I'm not above riducling his writing style though.
