What have you added to your collection recently?
Nice trading Sage. =) I know the Infinite Crisis omnibus is commanding higher prices than Annihilation in the aftermarket so you came out ahead there. Did you read Annihilation?

Sage wrote: "I didn't have time to! But I figure finding a 'decently' priced Annihilation on the aftermarket would be way easier than finding Infinite Crisis."
True enough. Do you also have Crisis on Infinite Earths, Identity Crisis, and Final Crisis? :) I liked the first two a lot. Identity Crisis has a couple very poignant scenes.

I think Infinite Earths is coming out in deluxe format soon right?
Yep, I'm showing an October release for the Deluxe. It's a good story and a very significant one for DC. :) I have the Absolute but looks like it's gone OOP already.

I got
Invincible - ultimate collection v1-9
Tom strong dlx 1&2
Sex criminals dlx
Next wave agents of HATE ultimate collection
Ghost rider omnibus
Green lantern omnibus
Invincible Iron man omnibus (ohc)1&2
Miracle man v3
And a free digital copy of Locke and key v1 :)
My girlfriend doesn't even notice lol. She'd go mental if she new how much I've spent. Haha. It's certainly filled my shelf.
Nice! That should keep you busy reading for a little bit. :) What are you going to tackle first?

I'd like to hear about Tom Strong because I may get the deluxe as well. Can't wait till you read planetary. Five stars for me.

True enough. I don't feel the characters are safe. That adds to the tension for sure.

Should I even ask which omnibus you guys are speaking of??

Lol. Well, it's a non superhero horror story in oversized hardcover written by Stephen King's son. Outside the type of stuff I usually read but it's won a great deal of accolades. It's already available in a TPB slip-cased set and standard HCs. The recent release is the first two story arcs (of 5 or 6) in OHC. The title is Locke and Key.

Nice collection, Lone Wolf and Cub represent. Is the case custom? Looks to sturdy not to be.

Never had the time to crack them open.
Nice looking bookshelf! I am a little jealous of your Bendis Daredevil omnibus volume 1. :) I have the OHCs instead of the first volume. Are you going to add Daredevil The End OHC?
I never did pick up the Ghost Rider omnibus. Is it good?
Uncanny X-Force was one of the best books I read last year. :) It's also the one to sell out and shoot up in price faster than any other I've seen. Nice to see it on your shelf.
I'm in the process of switching my New Avengers by Bendis standard HCs for the OHCs. I'm going to skip the omnibus.

Nah I've got the digital edition and that's enough for me. Yeah I'm very proud of my daredevil omnibuses. Definitely my favourite run alongside preacher.
I've not read ghost rider yet, i've bought most of this stuff on faith that i will like it haha. The only thing I'm not sure of is Iron Man, but some of the guys and girls on here recommend it so I'm sure it'll be good.
I used to have a lot more omnibus. I sold 4 earlier in the year, because I thought they were shit or average.
I sold...
X Statix
Punisher Max - Ennis
Ultimate Spiderman
Wolverine & the X-men
My whole deluxe collection of 100 bullets.
Ah. When I originally looked on my phone the pic didn't show up. That looks like it will last you till the end of the year before filling up! Everything looks really nice. What's wrong with me that I enjoy seeing a nicely shelved bookcase, with multiple volumes of a series all lined up?
I might try to get a pic of at least my Marvel Omnibus shelves this week.
If they ever reprint Uncanny X-Force I'll be jumping on that. I still can't decide if I want to get New X-Men by Morrison.

REALLY SWEET. I just got rid of my kids(all grown up, not murdered) and am looking into some options. That's like some Amish shit you got there. Got a pretty ridiculous (by that I mean nerdy)Batman statue/figure collection that i'm also trying to shelf. Gonna be expensive.

excellent. Send us a photo of your nerdy statue. I've just got my stay puff marshmallow man.

I meant plural. Like so many that it's amazing I'm not still a virgin. I did just win this one from Sideshow. People really do win those contests...And really, I'm not a virgin.

Hi Frank, you can zoom in within the photo section of this forum, but here is a close up....

Very nice, looks huge. I used to have all the justice league BNIB. I sold everything.
That's what she said."
My favorite joke...ever. I have to stop myself sometimes from saying it during normal conversation. Yes, I'm juvenile...

Explains why I'm feeling at home already.

Just ordered Thor OHC V1.
Also I just finished Miracleman 3. What a pile of cocks."
Where'd you order it from if you don't mind me asking?

That is so nice. I looked at the pictures for the group, I am so jealous. But then I remember I just started collecting. Perhaps I'll be able to send a picture next year!!

I've already read all the Avengers books. Nevertheless, I have some reading material for the upcoming four day weekend. :)

Very nice, i didn't even know there was a captain britian omnibus!
I thought you had the cap amercia brubaker run? I notice you like old the old school ones. Are they any good?

Nice haul!
@Rel: That's quite a haul. That will last you what, until tomorrow? :)
@Alistair: I only have the Brubaker Cap singles. I'd like to have at least the first two volumes in Omnibus but it'll be awhile before they reprint. Still trying to decide if I should pick up the last two while they are still available.
Captain Britain is pretty good, by Alan Moore and Alan Davis. I was looking at CB's two OHCs yesterday but they have mixed reviews.
As far as older stuff, I like reading the original source material to see where the characters came from. Sometimes you learn about relationships or events the feed current stories. It's always a mixed bag reading older stuff and depends on your personality if you enjoy it or not. I'm hoping to own all of the major characters that Stan Lee created.
Most of the modern stuff, I actually own in singles and I'm internally debating how much to get rid of them and replace with hardcovers. But as of now, I no longer buy singles/monthly issues, just hardcovers for me.

Nice shelves Sage. How was Future's End? Good to see you are picking up the Joe books with me. :) Still need to pick up vol 7 of the classic series. I still need the Underside Civil War OHC (and Spider-Man). I have all the others minus Avengers since I don't need to double dip on those.
I didn't actually post any pictures. I'll get around to updating in the not to distant future. :)
