I'll supply the comics and booze but I can't afford the drugs too :D
Nah the problem is (in broad terms) most people in London voted remain because London is like its own country in a way because it is massively diverse, it's brilliant. People outside of London are narrow minded wankers and think foreigners shouldn't be here and blah, blah blah, back to comics so I put my captain America collection on eBay today...however.....
I just bought all the Hellboy and Goon library editions! Oops!
Huge haul.
I'm curious to hear from someone v who has read all of Goon. I'd like to know if the story changes at all across the volumes.

As a kid one of my favorite series was the Dave Dawson books about an American pilot during WWII and his English compatriot, Freddy Farmer. They..."
If u go for president in 2020, u will have my vote

I've just read the first four volumes but each volume seems to follow a similar formula, with character development, running jokes, occasional new characters, and more backstory.

I read the first Library edition which I think covers what you've read. I like it but I'm not sure I want to invest into 3 more library volumes (just not quite my cup of tea.)

Nice. I'm hoping to get the next two really soon. Worried they'll sell out."
That's why i bought all 3 because even if i don't like them, i can sell them as they are hot property right now.
I've already sold one of my Cap America Volumes already, Cash in the bank! Which has paid for my spending spree with just one Omnibus!

New Dr. Strange vol.1
New Deadpool vol.1
MPH by Millar
Paper Girls Vol.1

Also tempted to get Hellcat, looks good and the new daredevil.

Man that is an incredible collection! Nice shelves too. What would be your top three favourite series from your mighty collection?

Fantastic 4 Hickman
BPRD: plague of frogs."
Nice, I know I'll be getting next (BPRD)

Make sure you read a few volumes of Hellboy first to get to know the characters.
It was a good question. I'd say after that it would be Preacher and then Lone Wolf and Cub.
Lone Wolf and Cub is in it's own league though.

O ok Hellboy first then even though he scared me when I was younger hopefully i can move on now I'm older. I've read the first omni (quality : / ) of lone wolf and enjoyed though it kindve bothers me its episodic and I really should get preacher though my focus right now is scalped!

I wasn't satisfied enough with waids run but it's been a decent continuation.

Plutonia sounds interesting, although I'm not sure how "deep" it can get with only 5 issues.

Agreed. I know the movie rights were recently purchased (Comic-con announcement). It has an interesting premise but it does seem fairly short.
Waid's OHC come in 5 volumes if I recall correctly. The omnibus was solicited as volume 1 so I expect at least two omnibus volumes. I decided to just stick with the OHCs. Easier to read and the same size pages. I just recently read the second volume and I liked it better than the first one.

Maybe Hickman :) or King.
I'd love to see Hickman come back to super-heroes but it may be a year or two before we see that happen. I know he is starting a new Image sci-fi series he described as "like Star Trek but depressing." IIRC. I would love to see him do more super-hero work even if it is outside of Marvel.
I do like Garney on art with DD for the current run.

I've been reading since the 1960s, collecting on and off (floppies, at least) since the 1970s, though my interest waxed and waned, and I switched over to collected editions primarily about a decade back, though I'd picked up things like the slipcovered Green Lantern/Green Arrow volume prior to that.
My digital collection is even more all over the place. My standing library is quite the mix, too; for a while I was collecting Marvel Essentials and DC Showcase volumes, along with an odd variety of other titles.
