Next week will see a decent number of oversize books released.
- Absolute Preacher
- Superman the Golden Age omnibus 2
- Deadly Class DLX
- Avengers by John Bryne omnibus (West Coast Avengers vol 3)
- Avengers Time Runs Out OHC
- Deadpool Minibus 1 OHC (reprint)
- Star Wars: Darth Vadar OHC vol 1
Not sure when Prince Valiant HC by Fantagraphics is supposed to be released. IST has zero Fantagraphics books in their coming now section right now. It's already out on Amazon.

I'm in for deadly class and avengers. I'm going to hold off on preacher though. I want to read it but I suspect I won't love it enough to justify the cost of an absolute.

The Deluxe Hardcovers are fairly reasonably priced for Preacher. I love Preacher but that's the route Im going instead of Absolute.

Totally in for Time runs out. I have all of the Avengers and New Avengers collected but I haven't started Time runs out yet.

Boredom scores a win! I liked the Aaron Punisher. Mine is lent out to a friend right now.

I got it cheap on Amazon Marketplace.

- Big Damn Sin City
- The Authority Volume 1&2 HC
- X-Men: Fall of the Mutants Omnibus
- X-Men: Phalanx Covenant HC
- The Uncanny X-men: Fatal Attractions HC
- X-Men: Operation Zero Tolerance HC
From the "new stuff":
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The IDW Collection Volume 1&2

Nice I would check out the Byrne omnibus but I don't have either of the west coast avengers omnibus

Not read any of it but can you go wrong with the x-men?

I Hate Fairyland Vol. 1 TPB
Dirk Gently Vol. 1 TPB
The Goon Library Volume 1 Deluxe
Batman Europa HC
I haven't looked through Goon yet, but wow, what a huge and beautiful book! I noticed Volumes 2 and 3 are out of stock on IST, though, which sucks. Anyone know if they'll be getting more soon?

Dark Horse has been pretty good about keeping Library Editions in stock at least until the series is complete. As there are two (I think) more Good editions to come I expect there will be more eventually. This is just my guess based off of past Dark Horse practice.
I enjoyed I Hate Fairland. Dark but funny. :)

New X-Men Omnibus
S.H.I.E.L.D Omnibus
Crisis On Infinite Earths DLX
New Frontier DLX

What I don't notice on anyone's list is the secret warriors omnibus. It's so good why has nobody got it apart from me?!

I have that one also. Really good but i added that one to my collection 1-2 years ago. :)

I also have that Crisis Deluxe. It's awesome : )

I'm actually planning to buy it because i want to read what Jonathan Hickman is doing on Marvel and i've heard that this is the place to start. Its out of print though, so i'm trying to found it in a good price.

All I've really read is Manhattan Projects and part of East of West. Prefer MP. Haven't read anything else by him. Any suggestions?
I like Hickman a lot as well. Though, I've enjoyed his Marvel work more than his original work.
His Marvel work includes,
Shield OHC vol 1 (vol 2 never released, yet)
Secret Warriors (omnibus or premier HCs)
Fantastic Four (two omnibus volumes, first OOP)
New Avengers/Avengers (OHCs)
Secret Wars OHC
I'm sure he's done some work here and there too. Did I miss anything?
As far as his Image work he has two ongoing series, East of West and Manhattan Projects. I'm enjoying East of West more than anything else. He has a new Image series starting in the near future about murder and high finance.

The only thing I can think of is the Infinity event which is sort of covered by the Avengers.
There is definitely a couple more independent stuff but not ongoing that I know of.
Wish they would hurry up and release an OHC for those SHIELD series.

UK folks: double check me but I believe the price of comics for you will be going up in the next couple of days.

Interesting. I know that my cost to purchase a print recently was less than expected because of the exchange rate being better for me in the USA. I do buy books form the UK from Folio Society and there are a couple series written by British authors that either are not available in HC or not available in the same binding that I am trying to pick up here. So this will probably help a bit with that. The exchange rate has not been good for the dollar for a long time.

I'm sure the price of tea went up quite a bit here when we exited the commonwealth (significant inflation also was an issue). :p
Hopefully after a re-adjustment period things will be better than ever in Britain after the exit. The USA and England's special relationship will remain and England's fifth largest economy in the world is still a powerhouse. I know there is a lot of doom and gloom from a lot of folks over Brexit but there is much in the way of opportunity for England to create the sort of country they want right now. Hopefully, the opportunity will not be wasted. :)
And perhaps I can afford to visit England with the dollar and the pound getting closer in value. :)

I would agree that the UK will come out better in the end. I'm just not sure what it will mean for the rest of the EU.

As a kid one of my favorite series was the Dave Dawson books about an American pilot during WWII and his English compatriot, Freddy Farmer. They were great friends and both put their lives on the line for the country and for each other. One of the observations of both was that as long as there were people like them, there would always be an England. Both of our countries have lot of problems. But, it's up to us to be the change we want to see in the world, right?
Both our countries have a lot of great things to offer the world too, this group is a testament to that. We both have artists and writers from both nations that create stories that we love and that entertain many people. If we look for the bad, we will always find it, sometimes we need to remind ourselves to purposely stop and look for the good and remind ourselves we have reasons to be proud of our countries (imperfect as they may be).

I should probably sell mine now. Such a great run though I really don't want to lose them.
