Ever wonder if you could build a jetpack using downward firing machine guns? How many Lego bricks it would take to make a bridge from New York to London? Or even from what height you would need to drop a steak to have it be cooked when it hit the ground? You can find answers to these and many more serious scientific answers to absurd hypothetical questions in the book what if?* written by Randall Munroe, also creator of the web comic xkcd. I loved this book because not only is it hilarious but it is also very geeky. If you are into science, math, or just want some grins, read this book or stop by his website at xkcd.com.
