So this month's topic inspo is credited to the lovely Reija the Book Finch who suggested we rec our favorite books that utilize subversive tropes. As always, i like to open the field of interpretation as wide as possible so i'm going to say lets rec our fav subversive books! that can be subversive takes on tropes, world building, characters, themes, politics etc

This summer has been one of fighting back against institutionalized oppression and I'd love for us to talk about the books that fight back against boundaries whether they be literary ones or real world ones.
