I'm a big fan of William Gibson, though I have not read all of his books yet. Neuromancer is an absolute must-read sci-fi book in my opinion, and Pattern Recognition is another favorite of mine.
I didn't know anything about this book going into it, except it just came out and I like the author. It reminded me a bit of P.R., but I think I enjoyed it even more.
It is the story of a young woman who cover's her brother's under the table job of logging into a video game and doing security for some mysterious company. She accidentally witnesses a murder, and comes to find out she is the only witness in a crime that takes place in the future, in another continuum. Lots of fun, with really interesting ideas about where current technology trends could lead us.
