Creative Magic (creativemagic) | 8 comments The books were set in the 50's. They were written with a similar spirit to Maisie Dobbs, but involved a gentleman detective who was actually an intelligence officer. Most of the cases dealt with the upper class of Britain. The titles in the series had very witty, but simple titles. The covers were iconic. They had very simple pictures of people that were clear and defined sort of like a comic book. There was a wry humor to the stories.

The series was published after 2010.
