I reviewed these pretty carefully, and I removed them. They do not appear to fit the list criteria.

#70 The Delusionist's Son
Neither book meets the list's required definition that it be set in the Regency, Victorian, or Edwardian era. One book is 20th century Noir and the other is medieval (secondary world) fantasy.

The list description is: Best Spanish-language books according to Spanish literature programs of US universities
These two books do not meet the criteria because:
1) they are not Spanish-language books but translations from Catalan, according to their record in goodreads
2) having been independently published in 2018, it is reasonable that they have not yet made it into the Spanish-language cannon in accordance with US Universities, which is what the list is trying to reflect

Five suspiciously similar users added the book "A Christmas Date (First Comes Love #3)" by Camilla Isley. The pairing in this book is f/m, so it doesn't belong here. It's currently in 9th place on the list.
The books "Face It" by Georgette Kaplan and "The Set Piece" by Catherine Lane were previously removed from the list at my request (if I remember correctly), but someone added them back. They are currently in 31st and 33rd place on the list. These books don't belong here because the faking happens with someone who is not the main character's love interest.
