Lisa Kimball | 5 comments Just joined this group and I saw this! Love it! Just started watching Gilmore girls (have never seen it) and I love it too. I'm going to be very slow at this list, but I'm going to try it! Starting after i finish the two books I'm reading now. Haha.

Jason (jasondenness) | 1426 comments Nice one Lisa good luck on the challenge, I've created a spreadsheet you're welcome to add a column for yourself and mark off the books you've read.

Lisa Kimball | 5 comments Jason- I tried clicking the link up above but it didn't work for me. Is that because I'm doing it on my phone?

Jason (jasondenness) | 1426 comments Dunno, what phone you got? what happened when you clicked on it?

Just tried on my phone, it opened in a browser but couldn't edit it, so prob best to use a different device.

Lisa Kimball | 5 comments Yay it worked on my computer! However (I'm so technologically challenged), I don't know how to save the changes I made so that it would save to that link. Also, I don't know if I read this in here or another thread, but was I able to check off books I read in the past towards this...I almost feel like I'm cheating since most I read in high school or college and it was so long ago. haha.

Jason (jasondenness) | 1426 comments It should automatically save, like magic. I would count the ones you've already done, unless you plan to re-read them. :)

Lisa Kimball | 5 comments It said it was a read only file so I couldn't save. I went into public under you when I hit save but it gave me a warning and made me nervous so I didn't.

Oh goodie! I have high 20s I think then. Some I read but I can't remember what they were about lol.

Jason (jasondenness) | 1426 comments Hi Lisa

I have had a look and it is working ok, Added your name at the top.

When you click on the link it will open in a preview mode, at the top there should be an option to edit or open in excel, if you have excel you can chose that option and it will open in excel, you can edit and then you need to click save and it will upload any changes.

You might have another option if you open it in Internet Explorer which is edit in browser, this is the option where you can edit and it automatically saves.

And don't worry you can't break it as I can go back to previous versions.

Jason (jasondenness) | 1426 comments yeah it's all about how much of a dick Ron is.

Jason (jasondenness) | 1426 comments Just finished A Confederacy of Dunces so finally ticked off another book from this challenge.

Jason (jasondenness) | 1426 comments Slowly ticking off these books, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn finished. Brilliant book.

message 66: by Tinka (new)

Tinka | 495 comments Liked most of it, but I hate Tom Sawyer so much, the moment that little annoying twerp showed up he killed most of my enjoyment of it

message 67: by Jason (new)

Jason (jasondenness) | 1426 comments I thought he was great, the rest of the story was getting a bit routine, suddenly he brings in crazy schemes of a kid.

Jason (jasondenness) | 1426 comments I'm still plodding through this challenge, two fantastic books recently completed.

Wuthering Heights
