California high school student Audrey Cuttler dumps self-involved Evan, the lead singer of a little band called The Do-Gooders. Evan writes, “Audrey, Wait!” a break-up song that’s so good it rockets up the billboard charts. And Audrey is suddenly famous!

Now rabid fans are invading her school. People is running articles about her arm-warmers. The lead singer of the Lolitas wants her as his muse. (And the Internet is documenting her every move!) Audrey can't hang out with her best friend or get with her new crush without being mobbed by fans and paparazzi.

Take a wild ride with Audrey as she makes headlines, has outrageous amounts of fun, confronts her ex on MTV, and gets the chance to show the world who she really is.

I'm 32% in and (view spoiler)[ I'm not really liking it so far. It's very obnoxious and I don't get it because Audrey is totally OMG NO I DON'T WANT IT TO GET BIG and yet she's giving interviews to people? Talk about a contradiction.

James seems cute though so I'm looking forward to seeing their relationship develop more though even that seems a bit sudden in some ways. (hide spoiler)]

80%: (view spoiler)[ Victoria is making me uncomfortable, mostly because I keep waiting for when she's going to betray Audrey. She's just too into free stuff and I hate that she talked Audrey into going to the concert, while driving a BMW a reality show is using to bribe them.

I finished: (view spoiler)[ I'm annoyed that she apologized to Victoria saying that it was all her fault, and that Victoria was going on about how all into herself she got. I would understand that if, for example, Victoria had gone to her house the night of the date to talk about her relationship with Jonah, but it was all about that stupid reality show. To me it seemed as if Victoria was even more into the whole fame thing then Audrey, yet she made those accusations. ESPECIALLY since this fight happened because Victoria is the one who came to her house and made her watch the video, even though Audrey didn't want to. Of course Victoria didn't really apologize back.

I'm even more annoyed that she forgave Evan. Everything he did was really uncool and he was so immature. I would have been all, "good riddance!" (hide spoiler)]

It's funny though :P It's interesting to think how the person who the song is about feels about it... guess you never really consider that!
