Opening part focuses on the discovery of a young girl left on the highway. Don’t understand why he’s not asking more questions!

Up to ch13. Our police officer has a history with the guy who found the young girl, and there’s definitely a link with the missing sister. Overwhelming sense of guilt from those who act as the support network.

Finished. Review on home page. This took me a little by surprise, but in a good way. Definitely not an uplifting read, but it certainly kept me interested even when I realised the story wasn’t quite as I envisaged.
