History: Esther grew up in the big city as in only child. Her parents were both scientists, always busy, causing Esther to live on her own. Her parents both dealt with different types of diseases in the world. That made Esther realize how much bad was in the world, how much sickness and death. She knows it's a serious topic, the topic of disease, but she grew up with it so she likes to joke around with it, never taking it serious. As a child she would go to her parents' lab and observe them at work and soon enough she gained interest in their studies and as she grew older she began helping them in their experiments. Since her parents were practically never around, they bought her a dog to serve as both a friend and a protector and they bonded quickly, never leaving each other's side. When Esther became an adult, living on her own, she still went to her parents lab and helped them, until the Genophage. When the outbreak of the Genophage happened, Esther's parents locked her, themselves, and her dog Zeus in a confined laboratory, where the disease would never enter. During their time their, they studied the Genophage disease, looking for some sort of cure for the deadly disease. They worked for months on end. While everyone in the outside world were getting infected, Esther and her family stayed in their safe haven, looking for the cure. The glorious day did come. The day that they found a cure. The only problem with that was that Esther's parents wanted to send her out into the disease ridden world to find out if the cure actually works.

It's beauty only remains due to the fact the town is rather unpertrubed by the horrors of most societies. A couple of advertisements have been filmed there for its appearance, but as far as it concerns the public, the town doesn't invite many tourists. It is a rather secluded fishing town, away from the other places among the country. It holds its own peculiar taste, hinting at variety amongst the bland, old traditions that had just become repetitive among their country. Their main source of popularity came from the trading of fish. It was one of the most popular occupations for males in the town and it was found that most fathers encouraged their sons to venture out into the clear waters and search around for a new catch. It was easy to do just because the waters were so abundant with different fish. And that was why most of the men in the town of Atrani were out in the Italian waters, searching around for something for dinner for that night.
One smaller boat had drifted off further into the blue waters, holding the farthest distance among all of the sailboats. It didn't mean much. This boat was just able to get more space around to fish. At least this way, all the fish that the boaters before him had lost would come in the other direction of the lone ship. Perched on top of the side with fishing equipment at his ready, Sebastian Esposito boredly awaited for his big catch of the day. His half bare legs dangled over the side of his boat with his arms resting back to support his weight. The day was coming to an end and he would soon have to succumb to the day's light and return home. His wait didn't last long, however, as a large tug alerted him that something had gotten caught in his net. Grinning widely, the Italian boy packed up his gear and weighed in his dinner into the awaiting cooler.
With fresh fish in his cooler, Bash was happy to return to his house. He didn't need to stay out any longer than necessary now that he had gotten what he had come for. His smaller boat slowly sailed into its awaiting dock. Because of all of the other boats, it was always a hazardous and annoying job to find an easy way to settle his boat in the water at the docks. So many ships wanted to take whatever place they could find closer to the entrance back into town. But, he had found his way around the area being down at these docks since he was a little boy. It had granted him some superiority amongst the fishers and he had easily found his way to a more closer area to the entrance while being easy to navigate in and out of. "Thanks, Buddy. I think I might take her out again tonight. Might have some company too, if ya know what I mean." The charming young man smirked as he winked at one of the operators at the docks.
He conversed a bit more with the elder man, finding it was actually easier to talk to a more stranger figure in his life than to speak with his own family. They were too hard on him, he commented to himself. Here he was, bringing home the family dinner and they depreciated his work and deprecated the way he was living his life. It wasn't like there was anything else he had available to do for work. "Alright, I best be getting home, or Mama will blow her-" He was interrupted with a small cough. Bash's hand rose to his parted lips, attempting to cover up the tickle in his throat. "I apologize. Well, I must be going now. Goodbye, sir." He nodded his head, swallowing the itchiness in the back of his throat as he made his way down the docks with his cooler rolling behind him.

Esther was lucky. While the while world was in chaos, trying to figure out how to stop this deadly disease, she was locked away with no contact with the outside world. It was only her mom, dad, Zeus, and her. They were locked away in a lab, trying to find a cure and when they reached that glorious moment, Esther was the one that got to deliver it. Sure she was scared about getting infected, but she had the cure. She could just stick the syringe in her arm and be cured. Right? She didn't even know if it worked. The studies and experiments they had done proved that this would work, but what if it didn't? Back to the drawing board Esther guessed. She didn't want to be locked away again. She loved how the sun felt against her skin. She loved being out in the open, able to move around and have her own space.
Where was she even going? All her parents told her was that she needed to travel to a small town in Italy. They had heard rumors of then being so secluded that the disease hadnt even reached them yet. What better place to go and see if the cure worked. She wasn't going to cure the people there. Oh no. They weren't even infected. She was looking for a safe place to camp out, to stay while she figured out if this cure actually worked. The disease was bound to enter the secluded town so Esther guessed it was even better for her to be there, to cure the first person that was infected with the deadly disease.
She had been on the ocean for eight days now. Her skin was now sun kissed from the hours she spent out on the deck with Zeus, staring out into the vast ocean. It was beautiful, she really couldn't get enough of it. She wished she could live out here on the ocean, traveling the world with Zeus without a care in the world. But she couldn't. She only had enough supplies to last the trip and she was trying to get there as quickly as possible. "Just a few more days buddy." She promised Zeus, petting the top of his head tenderly. He knew he didn't like being stuck on this boat with nothing to do. He needed an open area to stretch his long legs.
Esther wondered what the people of this town would be like. Savages? Maybe since they were so secluded they didn't know how the real world worked, but Esther figured that they were civilized. There was no way they could've survived this long if not. She wondered if they would accept her with open arms because she bore the cure. Or maybe they would hate her because she was an outsider. Maybe they wouldn't believe her when she said she had the cure. Who knew? She'd find out in a few days went she arrived there. "Come on." She called for Zeus to follow as she turned around, heading back to the captains cab where she steered the boat, ate, and slept. "It's dinner time." She told him, sitting on the floor only to pull out a can of dog food for Zeus and a loaf of bread with a jar of peanut butter for her.
