Part 1 "The Lost Twins (1968)"

Hello, reading friends!

Have you had a chance to read the first section of The Vanishing Half these past few weeks? I read Part 1 "The Lost Twins (1968)" this past weekend (consisting of chapters 1–3) and am completely drawn in to Brit Bennett's writing.

What are your thoughts about the book so far? Even if you haven't read all of the first 3 chapters yet, I'd love to know how it's going for you.

Do you have a favorite line from part 1?

Any parts in particular that stand out to you or that you find especially moving, mysterious, or brilliant?
