Hi - If someone could help me with this, it would be great!! I saw it in a book store a few weeks ago. It is a very long book, paperback. I think it has a yellow cover (but it may just be colorful). The title begins with an S and one of the reviews says something along the lines of "you will be hooked after the first sentence". I think the title is an ethnic word or name. Can anyone help with this? Thank you in advance.

I saw it at Warwicks in LA Jolla, CA it was on a display with other recommended books. paperback and looked to be very long.

Maybe Half of a Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie? Ethnic author name. The paperback seems to be 560 pp. The hardcover is even yellower.
