Yes. I will simply add that if you disliked Wolf Hall and liked Bring Up the Bodies, you will really like The Mirror and the Light.

WndyJW Me too, Linda. I thought Mantel did a great job showing how Cromwell changed as he gained more power and his family grew up and grew larger. I shed a tear when ***spoiler*** Cromwell died.

I saw an interview with Hilary Mantel in which she said that she wasn’t sure how she would write his death scene, but while grocery shopping it came to her, she stood in the store sobbing, then collected herself and finished shopping.

I want a tshirt that says...And now get up.

Gumble's Yard - Golden Reviewer | 10113 comments Equally brilliant but of course much much more compact. You should watch it given how much you loved the first two plays.
