Are there books out there that make you FEEL?

I recently read Exit to Eden and even though it is not the best book I have ever read, it make me FEEL things. It reminded me how earth-shattering falling in love with someone could be. It wasn't the topic "falling in love" per se, as it was the way that Rice described the process of falling. I am embarrassed a bit when I say I felt this when I read Twilight (the feelings it provoked). Jane Eyre, Snowflower and The Secret Fan by Lisa See. Falling Leaves by Adeline Yen Mah. I'm sure there are books out there I haven't read that made you FEEL (capitalized). Please share your recommendations and experiences.
