I’m looking for a trilogy of books About a family. It’s a historical romance trilogy. I read these books circa 2007 - 2009. They’re historical, but the family members has “powers.” I remember vague information about each book.

In the first book, the hero was under some curse. He could not sleep. He was maddened by this. He had superhuman strength.

The second book’s hero had super powers as well. He was the heir to the leader of the family. There was some mythical beast wreaking havoc in the area he lived in. He was tasked with finding some way to put a stop to this mythical beast.

The third book was about the leader of the family. His name was Malachi. He was the most powerful member of the family. I also think he could fly. At the beginning of the book, he sensed the heroine on his property. He flew to meet her.

Malachi made appearances in all the other books as well. They were brief. In the first book, he chided his cousin (the hero of the first book) about picking someone up on the docks. He literally picked the man up. By his collar I believe. Lol. He had superhuman strength. In the second book he offered his cousin (the hero of the second book) his help with killing the mythical creature. And he was the hero of the third book.
