I can't express how happy I am to hear that Kresley is alive and ready to write. She has been gone from the scene for so long but I never gave up hope. This update letter she sent is the real thing. She promised that we will have a MUNRO update in September but not a MUNRO book. I'm okay with that because we know a book is coming. Knowing she is alive and well is enough to give me the patience I need to wait.

The writing biz is hard as it is, but I agree that we will need an update. I'll even buy me some lube to go with it...
@Christine @Medusa we've been fucked so hard before that we just have no more use of lube guys. but I love Kresley so I don't really mind, dry and all.
@chibime Nah! I am sooo chafed that lube it is. @medusa Sorry about the squirrel hope it recovers or at minimum it was Nix in disguise carrying word back to KC that we are about to slip our leashes. If we just get Munro and she says “Guys, I’m tapping out”, I’ll respect that. But I hope she’ll announce Munro’s surprise release date (as October 31) and 40 née books written while she was M.I.A. 🙏🏼😁

Well, glad that KC reached out and let everyone know she still walked the earth. I sincerely hope all is well with her but a few more updates, and a bit more info, would be appreciated.
I know I’m about to be boo’ed but…it’s still only Sept. 13. We have another 17 days to go. But I understand the frustration. I asked for a sign of life…and I got it. Now I ask for an update in sept…there is still hope…! (But I’m not judging those who have lost hope or find it to painful to hope). That was a hilarious comment about the lube though.
@Ashton. I feel you but if I remember, the book was announced in late 2018 as being released in 2020. Call it a cult, but when something is soooooo good you know your down time needs it, or you'll loose your mind. It is early but any date in September may as well be a Mars Rover Landing at this point. I mean if every layer of the Lore were considered, KC would be the Where in the World is Carmen Sandiago Champion.
I know we all wish her well and are hopeful that whatever trial and travails she has been through is almost done but we need the dang book or she should say she tapped out. I could live with that too and you would not be boo'ed. We Valkyries stick together.

Okaaay. After much thought it has been decided if we truly are, Valkyries, Witches, Fey, Nymph or a hybrid, we’d need no lube because we are ALWAYS ready to roll. Our flowers need no watering to open. Our pumps need no grease to be primed. Rendering my former plea to K.C. moot. Everyone can stand down on the lube hunt. K.C. won’t do us dirty like that and we still have a few more days in the month.

@medusa- Mask making huh? I have an idea that will make you some bank. Black, purple or blood red masks and you can stitch in either a favorite short quote OR a favorite character name or a Lore group (vampire, Lykae, Valkyrie). But ya gotta put in that nose bridge thing. I am wearing my mask and when I exert I end up sucking in cloth. 😖I’ll be your first customer… 💵💰🤑
It’s official! **Squeeeeeeeal**. Munro is expected to drop January, 25, 2022. Maybe earlier but that’s the word from K.C. and Nix. -faints dead away-
@Lulu - Indeed it is. Knowing that we’ll turn the calendar page and have Munro waiting makes this long and never ending Pandemic seem doable. Now if we could just plan an Accession to kick Covid’s ass all would be right in my world.

@Christine, I am super excited to have this to look forward to too! Such a sad and dreary couple of years it has been. Fingers crossed 2022 will be better and it's a great way to kick off the year with a new IAD book.
I have pre-ordered the book and finally have something to look forward to in the coming year. She did not let us down :)
@Ashton - I have never pre-ordered a book because I hate it when I pay for the book and then the price drops. Also over the pandemic BOOKS have become more expensive by several dollars. So let me know if you pre-order it at $19.99 and then when it comes out it’s $17.99 do you get your money back?
Amazon will give you the lower price if you pre-order it early and then the price drops before the book comes out.
@Christine I usually order eBooks so the prices don’t change —Munro is 8.99 on kindle. I know hardbacks and sometimes paperbacks fluctuate, so I have no idea.
When I pre-order on Amazon, I am not charged until the date the book comes out and if it is a physical book, dispatched to me, or an e-book, when it is uploaded to my Kindle. I have never been charged in advance for a pre-order, and I also get it at a reduced price if that is what the publisher decides before the book is actually issued.
I did not know that. Heading over to PRE-order now. 👍🏼

I hope you are all doing well! I’m very sorry I haven’t written in so long. It seemed the more time passed between updates, the harder it got to send one.
I was also hoping this newsletter might contain some, well, news, but I consulted with Nïx, and she informed me that I’ll have a MUNRO update in September! For now, I’m sending proof of life and a heart full of warm wishes to you and yours.
