I finished it! It's so good. Even better than I remember. Especially the last few chapters I forgot how emotional they were and I got emotional reading them.
I am getting ready to start this in the next day or so! Can't wait to find out what happens (I do remember the movie somewhat but details are vague) :)
I finished this a couple days ago and have to say what a fantastic ending to the series!! I was tensed up as I read through most of it because of all the action and the part right before the ending made me emotional also!! I had seen the movie years ago but had forgotten most of it so I was so happy to read this! I am looking forward to the prequel The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes next month and have banned myself from reading any reviews (I have heard it has gotten mixed reviews) because I want to go into this blind and see what my impressions are of a youthful Snow ;)
Thank you for this awesome Buddy Read! :D
I so agree Alison! And I'm looking forward to Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes as well. I haven't read any reviews either but I've also heard/seen different star ratings (and then I quickly scroll past so nothing is given away) I wonder if we will think it's better since we've read the whole series beforehand! So it's fresh in our mind. I guess we will see!

Everyone reads at their own pace during a Buddy Read. Because participants can be at different parts of the book at different times, it is extremely important to mark spoilers so that the book is not ruined for someone who is not as far along as others!!!
Mark spoilers by placing {spoiler} before the text and {/spoiler} after the text but use the < and > instead of the { and }.
Happy Buddy Reading!
