"Don't forget what happened to the man who suddenly got everything he always wanted… He lived happily ever after"
Papaphilly wrote: "The Patriot?"No it isn't that one either. Mel Gibson is not in this movie.
Another hint is that some men are considered outlaws and have been banned from a certain city. Does that help?

Yes, I think we could use a hint.
Raymond wrote: "J. wrote: "J. wrote: ""A beginning is a very delicate time.""Still unsolved. Does anyone want a hint?"
Yes, I think we could use a hint."
It is the first line of a Sci-fi movie, and is spoken by a young Virginia Madsen.
Raymond wrote: ""Isn't that just like a wop... brings a knife to a gunfight. Get outta here ya dego bastard!""The Untouchables

Correct. Great Sean Connery line.
"I'm gonna keep the coke and the fries but I'm gonna send this burger back. And if you put any mayonnaise on it, I'm gonna come over to your house, I'll chop your legs off, set fire to your house, and watch as you drag your bloody stumps out the door."

Philip wrote: "Raymond wrote: ""I'm a machine. I never thought that was bad, until I saw your face when you found out I was.""Ex Machina?"
Nope. This one may take a little while. The movie it is from is not the first that comes to mind with that quote.
"You could be happy here, I could take care of you. I wouldn't let anybody hurt you. We could grow up together"

Nope. This film was much lighter.

Another good guess. Closer to the sentiment of the movie, but wrong.

I've got too many westerns going through my head. I want to say that it's an Eastwood line, but I can't place it.
Papaphilly wrote: "Papaphilly wrote: "J. wrote: "Papaphilly wrote: ""Dyin' ain't much of a living, boy.""Any more hints? It is a western."
Well, J.'s comment about Eastwood has me thinking that that line occurs in Unforgiven. Eastwood to the young, near-sighted kid who wants to join them.
Raymond wrote: "Philip wrote: ""I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.""2001 A Space Odyssey. Open the hatch, Hal. Just watched it the other night."
