Chase was three when Tanique was kicked out. He never really remembered her as he got older. He would constantly test his strength. He would normally win these battles, but one went horribly wrong. The CCG figured out his identity. His mother and father were killed, and Chase was on the run. The CCG eventually caught up with him when he was saved by his sister Tanique, who at the time was unaccounted for. Watching her win the fight between the investigators effortlessly, he vowed to train more to get stronger.
Chase’s first run-in with the CCG was a month before his parents were killed. They never thought of an alias for him because he was never able to finish the investigator off. It wasn’t until Tanique saved him when he got his alias.

Chase’s Bikaku resembles a scorpion tail. It’s purple and blue. His kagune is best suited for close to mid range.

He has dark red hair that covers one side of his face. He has terrible poster and is usually slumped over. He normally wears all black and white. He normally wears chains on his clothing too.

Personality:
Hannah is a very headstrong and stubborn. Although not physically strong or really much of anything, she can very protective of her brothers and sisters. Having spent a lot of time on the streets she has a high level of street smarts but very little formal education (she’s not very clever).
Ward: No assigned ward, lives mainly in the 20th ward
History/Bio:
Hannah is a member of the abandoned children, a non-threatening group of children with little concern to the CCG and lay very low. She was far too young to remember what happened to her parents or why her kagune doesn’t work right, which she sees as a blessing hearing the stories from the other children. She spent 4 years bouncing between orphanages before turning to the streets realising her status as a ghoul put her at increased risk as people began to ask questions about her eating habits (or lack thereof)

Having formed her kagune too early in her life, Hannah is unable to produce a full rinkaku, instead her tentacles appear anaemic almost, thin and barely able to reach the ground, appearing and functioning more like whips. The maximum amount of whips she has so far managed to produce is six.
Consequently, she is forced to use other means to attack or defend herself, never hunting alone, if she hunts for herself at all

Yua is a girl of short and thin stature, not something you’d expect from just about any ghoul, thanks to society’s twisted view of them. She’s practically bone thin, with delicate round features. Her entire body is just… pale. White hair, pale coloured skin, contrast is created, however, by her deep, wide, grey eyes.
Yua stands only at 5’1”, and her thin features give her the look of a frail young girl, younger than her 19 years of life, which may make her a target for certain people looking for a snack… well, cannibals at least. Yua often wears a grey sweater, black jeans and simple, light grey sweaters, as these are the only clothes she owns. She wears nothing below the grey sweater, which luckily covers her cleavage up… barely.
Whilst her kagune is in use, Yua’s entire body gains stark white veins running along it, and she doesn’t gain a conventional kakugan, rather her iris’ turn white, her sclera turning a light blue.
Background:
Born to a fairly well off family somewhere in Japan, Yua had a nice upbringing. She was given everything she ever needed, however her father was insistent on not spoiling her, wanting Yua to grow up humbly, rather than the spoiled brat that many people associate with families like this. Due to this conditioning, Yua grew up as a kind girl, friendly and soft.
At around the age of fourteen, a strange phenomenon occurred. Her kagune, or more accurately her kakuhou sac, started acting strangely. At first this was just a sharp pain in her lower back, however as days went on this sharp pain started to evolve. It started with bleeding from where her kagune would usually exit, turning into actual gashes appearing there. Her father, being fairly rich, hired the help of some ghoul doctors, to no avail. Either they would have to remove her kakuhou, or she would just have to suffer until this… thing comes to past.
Weeks later, the hurting stopped. As Yua had gone to bed it was there, and several times during the night she had been woken by it, but eventually it just… ceased. Mysteriously. But all was not right, rather, the usual paleness of her skin was becoming… paler, around the exit point for the kakuhou, and spreading quickly. Every minute, centimeter by centimeter, her skin was becoming whiter and whiter. The strong scent of a ghoul permeated the whole house, unnaturally strong.
As it turns out, Yua’s kakuhou had gained quasi-sentience through a random mutation at birth, and had begun to, only now, eat away at her body, replacing it with purely RC cells. She was becoming a kagune entirely. The rc cells worked to replicate most of the workings of a ghouls body, such as a brain, a pseudo heart. But she was made of kagune.
Becoming distraught, her new brain having messed up a little bit to inhibit her regular functions, such as a proper memory and cognitive ability, Yua ran. Leaving her house, she sprinted down the streets of Japan with newfound speed created by her newly made muscles...
Personality:
Yua is a shy, timid girl. She avoids those that are intimidating, and can become extremely attached to those that are kind to her. In short, she’s much like a child. Due to the cognitive inhibition of her mind, she was sort of… reset. She can’t speak properly, nor can she normally walk properly, however she is capable of broken speech (though she usually uses monosyllabic language) and basic recognition (like “friend”, “enemy”, things like that). Her memory too is extremely broken. She remembers certain things that make a decent impact on her, however she may forget other things. For example, a hot stove is on. She touches it, gets hurt, then regenerates. She completely forgets that it hurt her, and goes to touch it again.
Despite this, she retains some level of instinctual combat, which makes her dangerous in a fighting situation. Her quasi-sentient kakuhou acts as a sort of “second brain”, and protects her from threats she can’t even see or notice. It helps her cope with certain things, acting to calm her down in distressing situations in order to increase the likelihood of survival.
Kagune

Appearance:
Yua’s kagune is her body. She is the kagune, and the kagune is her. Due to this, her kagune usually doesn’t have an appearance, and she has the extremely strong smell of a ghoul - to the point where one may believe that there are several ghouls in a single area.
Abilities:
Due to its strange nature, Yua’s kagune has immense shapeshifting capability. Whilst it usually simply transforms into stretchy tendrils off her body with high piercing power. It is capable of shapeshifting on the cellular level, her RC cells being able to change their own structure to mimic any other kind of body cell with ease. They are capable of eating away at any other given material like acid, absorbing it (which is Yua’s way of eating).
Strengths:
Yua is, despite not knowing it herself, an immensely powerful person. She is extremely fast, strong and has a high regenerative factor. Her RC cells can condense together to form kakuhou like shields, or stay lax like a rinkaku in order to be swift and highly regenerative. She’s capable of moving faster than the vast majority of people can react (a little below Eto’s own speed), and can destroy concrete around her with a single strike.
Weaknesses:
Yua is little more than a child inside an adult's body. She has next to no understanding of the world around her, and is purely instinctual. She may lash out at people, or she may be far too trusting. She’s easy to manipulate and take advantage of, in short. In addition, whilst she’s extremely difficult to kill, destroying her kakuhou sac will kill her immediately, with no hope of surviving. She also requires much more food than the average ghoul, roughly one adult male human a week, at least, in order to maintain her body.

LmaoI loosely based her on Caska from Berserk, literally a child in an adults body. In the same sense, she'd probably get frequented by people for her extremely strong scent, so it kinda mirror's Caska's thing of getting stalked by monsters all the time

Niko has a fairly relaxed appearance overall. Most of the time she can be found milling around with a slight slouch, none of that straight posture and straighter mindset that most people have. Just not her style. She often wears her red hair swept back on her head, although if not held directly in place it will spring back forward in a moment of unintelligent stubbornness.
Niko has quite androgynous features. While slim like a female, her body is still wide-set enough to easily be mistaken for a male. To further the confusion, she wears male clothing a good 99% of the time, that usually being a loose white dress shirt, a tie, a brown vest, a black, long overcoat, black dress pants and dress shoes. These compliment her fairly pale skin and colourless eyes quite well.
On her neck is tattooed the roman numeral for 4, “IV”, which is what earned her her CCG nickname (and a little bit of confusion, what with her gender). She often has a pair of sunglasses pushed up on her head as well.
Background:
Yua was born to a simple family… no, no she wasn’t, it was anything but simple. A CCG officer (her mother) that mistakenly fell in love with a ghoul (...her father, obviously) and had a child that pulled the short end of the stick and became a half human. Nothing about her situation was ideal, except for one thing.
Before we get to that, we have to talk about her childhood first. It was relatively peaceful, as after her mother figured out that Niko was developing physically far too fast for any child, and that her lover was a ghoul, she ran. Defecting from the CCG, Niko’s mother ran with Niko to the Japanese country-side, where they hid from… everyone. It was here that Niko realised (at about the age of six) that she wasn’t the same as her mother, nor the boys and girls around her.
While this may have distressed a regular person, Niko took full advantage of it. Using her highly developed physical abilities to win competitions amongst her friends, using her androgynous looks to tease both males and females, Niko had a blast through her childhood. Until one day…
Niko was about fifteen, her mother about 38, when her mother fell into cardiac arrest. Niko, in sudden distress, tried everything. CPR, which was about the only thing she could do on her own, and calling an ambulance. But the ambulance couldn’t come fast enough… all was lost, until something happened. The lights in the room began to flicker, and sparks appeared around Niko’s palms, shocking through them and into her mothers chest, acting as a sort of defibrillator, reviving the woman!
A mix of surprised and overjoyed, Niko’s mother was taken to the hospital and given proper treatment, while Niko was left to wonder about her abilities. Was this because of her ghoulish heritage? It must be! Niko, from that day, decided that she would follow in her mother's footsteps, and take up becoming a CCG officer.
During her time at the academy many rumours swarmed around her. The first time coming through an RC detector had caused it to go off, and for her to be temporarily arrested until she could prove she wasn’t a ghoul. This caused her first nickname to be “Half-Ghoul”, though she didn’t care. Ghouls were meant to be strong, right? That’s what she wants to be! Training and studying hard, her next nickname was just “Four”, as she seemed to come specifically fourth in everything she did, which wasn’t exactly ideal.
One day, while wandering around the ward away from the CCG academy, Niko had a fateful encounter with a ghoul. An electrokinetic ukaku nicknamed “Railgun” for their exceptional speed and power, as well as their ability to propel their ukaku crystals through the air like a railgun. Needless to say, Niko was taken out rather easily. Scared, alone, cornered to the back of an alley, the ghoul had overheard other students talking about a person named “Four” and wanted to check them out for themself.
Playing around, the ghoul electrically burned the roman numeral “IV” into Niko’s neck, permanently branding her with it. In a moment of desperation, Niko managed to wrench the shard out of the ghouls hand, barely managing to wound them.
Roughly ten minutes later, the ghoul was dead, and Niko was heavily damaged, passing out. When she woke up she was in the hospital, bandaged practically everywhere over her body. By specific request, she asked for the brand to not be removed, leaving it as a reminder of her foolishness.
Afterwards she was told that managing to kill Railgun was a mix of pure luck, a miracle and only the tiniest amount of her own skill. Nevertheless, she was given the Railgun quinque.
Personality:
Niko is a friendly, outgoing girl, who doesn’t take shit from anyone. Often loud and boisterous, she can be your best friend, or your worst enemy. With a bit of a short temper, she definitely fits into the fiery stereotype for redhead, though she can cool down fairly easily.
Despite this, most of the time she’s just… cool. She’ll help out if needed, readily and happily, and is fine with doing just about anything. There isn’t much to put into this personality, really...
Quinque

Appearance:
Named “Railgun” after the ghoul that Niko killed in her youth, this is an SS rated quinque with a huge amount of power behind it. Despite looking like a simple pistol with a gap in the barrel, this is, for all intents and purposes, an extremely powerful handheld railgun. It has a cream coloured grip, and instead of an actual trigger it has more of a curved button. On top it has a simple sight, and is mostly black.
She also carries a Tsunagi with her at all times, to avoid using Railgun.
Abilities:
Railgun is capable of creating and shooting electromagnetically powered kagune projectiles. These are streamlined to take the immense speed and power of the railgun, and are fired at a muzzle velocity of approximately 10,000 metres per second, with enough power to punch straight through just about anything in its way. This is an immensely powerful quinque, and the level of output can be augmented with certain electrical impulses from Niko herself.
Strengths:
Niko is an extremely adept fighter, with a lot of experience and a powerful quinque. Her Half-Human physiology gives her highly enhanced physical capabilities, which can be further enhanced by stimulating her muscles with small electric shocks, allowing her to reach a higher percentage of their total power (most humans only use a maximum of 60% of their body’s potential). Due to her gun having a huge amount of recoil, her shoulders are absolutely s o l i d, to the point where even a kagune might have a large amount of trouble harming them. But only her shoulders.
Weaknesses:
First off, since she’s a half human she has a shorter lifespan, which is bad. Second, Railgun has an immense amount of recoil and requires a charging time. The charging time for most of her shots (the low power ones that move at about 1000 m/s) require a charge up time of five seconds minimum, whilst a full powered shot requires 50 seconds, the gun also has a huge amount of recoil, and at its maximum charge it could potentially pull her arm right off should she not be properly ready for it. She does not need to be in contact with her gun while it’s charging up. In addition, due to her half human physiology, if she is subjected to a high concentration of RC cells she will develop ROS (a disease where the body over excretes RC cells), and eventually a kakuhou sac, but no kagune.

Mask: Nakai simply wears a mask which combines the comedy and tragedy masks.
Personality: Nakai is incredibly sadistic but can easily pretend to be kind. Easily offended when her height is brought into account or when she is mistaken for a kid. She is careless and thus can get herself into major trouble but with her sadistic tendencies.
Kagune: Nakai has 2 different Kagune
Ukaku: Her Ukaku is a very large equal sized pair of blue wings roughly 2 meters apiece allowing her to glide long distances with ease.
Rinkaku: Her Rinkaku is 5 long thin red tentacles that are roughly 5 meters long each giving her a very long range for attack but also allowing her to defend herself at close range.
Nakai also has a Kakuja nearly the same as Ken’s from the Anime but blue and red.

Natural One Eyed Ghoul
Appearance:

Kiyoshi is a man of slender build and average height. He stands at 5’2”, and looks like he could break apart in a slight breeze. His thin, short nature gives him a distinct look of frailty, something not many people expect from a ghoul. His pale skin and angular features help increase this overall look as well, which is a… good and bad thing.
The man has eyes with a distinct, pale gold hue to them, framed by dark eyelashes, and four small moles under each eye, symmetrically placed - which is probably one of his only defining features. Save for his multi-coloured hair, of course. Kiyoshi’s hair falls in two distinct shades of grey, one quite dark, like a storm cloud on the horizon, the other - which covers most of the back of his head, and if you ruffle his hair enough it shows up amongst the darker colour as well - is a lighter shade, more metallic than the stormy colour.
He often wears simply, loose clothing, made for comfort more than anything else. A loose black shirt that’s probably a few sizes too big for him, so he rolls up the sleeves a bit, loose black pants and black sneakers.
Background:
Kiyoshi’s entire existence is a miracle, being the natural born child of a human and a ghoul. His mother, a ghoul, forced herself to eat human food in order to give Kiyoshi the nutrients he needed, meanwhile his dad… was off doing what his dad did, probably playing golf somewhere, no one really knows exactly what that man did in his spare time. He was only a C rank ghoul, no cause for concern by the CCG.
His mother, more than slightly annoyed with her child's father's lack of presence, often distanced herself from the ghoul, spending time out in the park, going for walks. It was a peaceful existence, at the very least.
When Kiyoshi was born he made no noise, no crying… in fact, he was looking at his parents with a look of baby apathy, a complete nihilist right from the get go. He never really cried, in truth. Even when he got hurt, he just sort of… let it heal and dealt with it. He was fairly intelligent, but never really used that for anything. He figured things out fast, his physiology, his limits. That he needs to lay low, because people don’t like the side of him that his father gave him.
Whilst many may resent their mother or father for the genes given to them, Kiyoshi… didn’t care. He had his options open, in his eyes. He could lead a human life, or he could go down the ghoul path. So he did both. He got a job at a convenience store, and existed as a human. Occasionally he would allow himself to fall into his ghoul instincts, going out for a night and… brutally killing tens of people for the fun of it, then eating one or two and leaving the rest… dead, of course.
One night Kiyoshi ran into a CCG investigator, almost literally, and half panicked for a moment. He knew that if his face was revealed he’d get forced into an underground life, and thus grabbed the nearest thing to him to use as a mask… a plastic clown mask. Almost managing to kill the officer, Kiyoshi was forced to flee as a bunch more officers filed in. This encounter earned him the nickname “Joker”.
Soon realising he now actually needs a mask, he got a mask made up for him. Based on the mask he had found, it was simple. A grey oval that fit over his face with a leather strap, star shaped eyes and a wide grin. The Joker became the name of a SS rate ghoul, dangerous and violent.
Personality:
Kiyoshi is, in short, very apathetic. He usually harbours an uncaring and tired attitude towards everything, having a fairly nihilistic approach towards life. He can often be found milling around if he isn’t doing anything else, probably sleeping in unorthodox places.
This uncaring nature leads him to look completely composed during even the scariest of situations. You could literally be about to tear him in two and he wouldn’t even blink, he’d just be… there. Despite this, he tends to have a fairly short fuse, and annoying him is a bad idea, ‘cause it could end up in quite a bit of pain for the person annoying him.
Now, despite all of this, Kiyoshi actually craves a relationship. In truth, he’s lonely. He wants someone to fill that void in his heart for him, to fulfill him.
Kagune

Appearance:
Kiyoshi’s kagune appears as four long, flat blades, like flexible box cutters. They’re razor sharp, extremely flexible and fast, and black in colour, with navy blue lines running up the face of them, creating square segment over its face.
Abilities:
Kiyoshi’s kagune is soft, softer than regular rinkaku, but it’s extremely fast and has high regenerative power. He’s capable of doing one off (as in a single jab or slash) attacks so fast the opponent may not even realise they’ve been attacked until afterwards. He’s capable of regenerating with similar potency to Noro, being able to even pull his head back onto his body and continue fighting.
Strengths:
Kiyoshi is extremely fast and has a high regenerative factor, coupled with his natural fighting skill, this makes him a deadly opponent. He’s cunning and manipulative, and knows when to quit, so he’s even more difficult to kill thanks to that feature of himself.
Weaknesses:
Kiyoshi lacks in the durability and raw strength departments. While still more durable and strong than a regular human, and even olympic levels of strength, he’s still weaker than the vast majority of ghouls. While he can mitigate this by using fast attacks (which increases their power), he has to be careful. His regeneration can be overwhelmed if he’s receiving too many attacks in a short space of time, and since he’s not very durable that’s an extremely bad thing. If he falls in love he tends to sort of lose sight of other things, and would even get himself killed for the one he loves.

Bio:
Shoko grew up in an impoverished neighborhood just outside of Mito. She was taken care of by her older sister Mozu who was eventually killed in the Owl Extermination. Shoko stayed off the CCG radar until her run-in at the Auction Sweep and the Lunar Eclipse. She gained an S rating. She maintained this rating until she gave Arima a run for his money and she was moved up to a SS. She is currently teaching first grade at Omuro Elementary School.
