Is the emotion too raw in this chapter? I was feeling some feels when I wrote it. And I just finished watching Alexa and Katie season 4 and WOW it hit hard and it shows a true friendship between the two characters in the show that kind of reminded me of my own opinion of Colm and the protagonist of this story's own relationship.
I always thought the relationship between Colm and the protagonist (your character) was a romantic one but I've realised now that they're friends. And true friendship can involve deep and real feelings of love. It's not a romantic love but that doesn't make it any less authentic or possibly heartbreaking.

What do you think? Did I make it too deep? Did reading this chapter make you feel a bit emotional? I'd love to know!

This chapter was amazing! Like all the others!
You can really capture the scene either if it's the one when the protagonist goes away or if it's the one when we (the protagonist) falls and meets the old lady :)

But what if the she turns out not to be the old woman she seems to be? What if the symbol is dangerous? I decide to run away from this place as fast as I can. If I want answers, I know the rebels will have them; so sooner I get there, sooner I get my answers (for sure).
