Authors Supporting Our Troops project

Some of our author members may be interested in the relatively new Authors Supporting Our Troops project, which was done for the first time last year and is now being repeated this year. (I only learned about it very recently.) Basically, it's an effort to get authors to donate signed copies of their books (you can donate more than one copy, if you want to) for shipment overseas and distribution to U.S. military personnel stationed in isolated areas where they don't have ready access to books. This project is not sponsored by the military or the government; it's a private effort supported by donations. (It started with a lady who wanted to send books to her godson, and grew from there.)
