Yes, everything lately has been stressful.
When you tell yourself that you're gonna do all these things, you really try to push yourself and then BOOM! Something comes up and life just...happens. I can't prevent life from happening, you can't prevent life from happening. I plan life and then it just blows up in my face and that's how life is. This month I'm trying to find peace and I'm trying not to push myself so much because I KNOW I can't take it all. When you look at it from the outside, it doesn't seem like that much stress, but we all deal with things differently and that's how it's stressful. I've always been one of those people who is upset when things don't go the way I planned, then I try to plan around those bumps in the road and then I realize there is always going to be a bump or two or three or MORE in the road. When I tell my mom how I'm upset that my plans get ruined, she simply says, "That's life." And that is simply life, my friends. It's complicated. It's stressful. And it's a whole lot more than we could've planned.
I'm not a reliable person, I really do try, but like I "said", life is stressful. Those curveballs happen at the most unexpected times and that's okay. I'm just trying to convince myself it's okay.
There are multiple reasons why I'm typing this.
-I am just trying to convince myself that it's okay.
-I feel that it is important.
And I just wanted everyone to understand why I don't put the effort I need to into something on GoodReads. I'm sorry, I really am and I'm trying, I really am. You know what they say, "Better late than never." That's what I go by.
