Let the Rain Fall

This is actually a good name for a story I've already started writing.

There are things in life that you do even though you’re told not to. These actions often lead to unwanted, dangerous adventures. I have a horrid habit of pursuing these dangerous, deadly adventures without trying. Either, I get dragged into them, or they follow me.
In Reitrendike, we have rules. They’re fairly easy to remember and follow, yet I always seem to find myself in unwanted circumstances. The rules consist of three main points, number one, never leave the village, number two, never step in the Forbids, and number three, never talk to anyone you haven’t seen before. I’m a fairly normal 14 year old girl, except the fact that I have a tendency to accidentally obliterate every rule laid in front of me.
I’m outside the city-limits, again. I don’t get what the big deal is. The people from other towns are the exact same as us, but I’m the only one that thinks that way, other than my friends. I walk past an abandoned store barely noticing my surroundings. While most people I know find the Forbids eerie and dead, I find them peaceful and ready to be explored. I’m wandering around, oblivious to my surroundings until a noise jerks me to awareness.
“Wait!” the frightened voice whispers in a sharp way that seems more inside my head than out. I whip around the the source of the voice, and I see a small thin figure curled up on the ground, clutching her side and stomach, “Please, help me.” the tiny girl pleas. I walk closer and study her. She’s extremely thin and small, but I can tell that she is strong despite her appearances. I take another step closer and suddenly I see bright pansy pink eyes, brimming with tears, gazing up at me. I crouch down next to her and immediately see why she’s in pain. From her left hip to the left of her bellybutton is a 3 inch long, infected cut. (hide spoiler)]

I just realized that I don't tell you the name of the main character.

Her name is Riktroghh.

Very well written, Rhystlynne. Makes me think about William Wallace, but then the poor little soul line makes me think it could be about a dog. I like it either way!

William Wallace was a Scotsman who fought for their Mel Gibson in Braveheart, that was his portrayal of William Wallace.

This is a great start to the story. Are you planning on writing more?

I am planing on it, but I've had writer's block in this story for the past few weeks. I'll write more as soon as I can think of what happens. (:

Silence
another (possibly) good name for a story I've started. I have so many title ideas! They all get in the way of the story!

(view spoiler)[Five is a regular adopted, 13 year old boy...except for his name and a few other bizarre facts, like how he's a shape shifter and a telepath. With reoccurring fights at school and his instincts threaten to over come him, he is forced to go into hiding. Communicating with his sister Valery only through telepathy,he tries to live unnoticed and unknown. Until it all blows up in his face and he has to leave behind his life and adopted family.
