A book with non-human characters

Whip out your books with adorable puppy main characters or that lovable cat! Or if you get creative I suppose cyborgs would count as non-human too. Sci-fi or cuddly animals :) To each their own! :)

I went with a classic for this task - by Richard Adams. I can't believe that I haven't read this book before now. Loved it!
