Giving non fiction authors a Platform to sell their books

Platform is a new facebook group for non-fiction authors seeking help to promote their books.

I know as a self-published non-fiction author how hard it can be to find reviewers, and to get invited to do events. I've been desperate to do talks. By far my best experiences in trying to market my books have come from talks that I’ve given. How much harder it is to generate sales from online events I don’t know, but it’s got to be worth trying.

With just a little more cooperation among indie authors, I believe that we can make more of these opportunities happen.

The group is public and is open to everyone with an interest in non-fiction. It will be hosting talks by independent authors and putting out calls for book reviewers.
