3. When did you begin to consider there was more than one Doll Maker or he had help? Did you ever think they might have worked as a team? What did you think when the bachelor party tape proved Church couldn't have committed the last murder?

Tracey (trakka) | 407 comments I think I figured out pretty early on that there was a copycat as it was mentioned as a possibility quite early on.

The bachelor party tape confirmed it for me that there was a copycat.

I figured from the start because of my faith in Harry. Even when he started doubting himself, I felt he was too good of a cop to have blown this.

❆ Crystal ❆ (crystal_wright) I was clueless.. it totally hit me between the eyes. When I first learned about the tape, I thought it had been tampered with... that the date had been fixed.

That was one of my instant theories, too, Crystal, but abandoned it fast. Harry's too reliable.

True... Honestly, I didn't know what to think! But, I knew that what ever Harry found, he wouldn't bury or hide the evidence and I so admire that!

That's what was driving my thinking.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments I also knew it had to be a different killer responsible for Maggie's murder because, like Jonetta, I trusted Harry's gut :0)

At first, I thought that Maggie's killer was an accomplice. 9 times out of 10, serial killers do not kill outside their racial group and the Dollmaker's victims were a range of races so I thought that Church killed the white victims while the Latina and black victims were killed by Mora.

I did enjoy how Harry and Amado made the connections between the Follower and the 7th and 11th victims as well as Maggie's murder.

Great point about serial killer behavior, Lauren. We're watching w-a-a-y too much Criminal Minds:)

Yes we are!

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments When the makeup from most, but not all, of the victims was found at the scene when Harry shot the man he was convinced was the "Dollmaker." There had to be something fishy going on with that.
Not sure I was consciously thinking about a copycat, but the other choice was that Harry truly was wrong and deserved a fat conviction, etc.

Robin (robinmy) | 1214 comments I was sure Harry shot the right guy, but was convinced that he had a partner who was still killing. I really didn't think about a copycat.
