4. Who was the first potential suspect that came to mind when Locke said the copycat or "follower" was someone privy to the details of the murders? Bosch thought it might be Ray Mora...did you agree and/or having others in mind?

Tracey (trakka) | 407 comments I wasn't convinced at all that it was Ray Mora. Too convenient. I didn't really think about who it could be and just let the events play themselves out.

I thought it was someone from the lab. I must admit that I followed every red herring Harry did.

❆ Crystal ❆ (crystal_wright) I thought it was Locke because his last comment to Harry that night was that The Follower was really smart... I thought he was stroking his own ego.

Good thinking!

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments I followed along with Harry. I immediately thought of Mora because he gave Harry (and me) the creeps but I did rule him out before Harry did (because he really helped with the information on the other victims and I didn't think that the real killer would do that).

Locke was my second suspect and he caught my attention because of how eager he was to insinuate himself into the case. He wanted to go with Harry to follow Mora and he was too excited about it all. It seemed weird.

So he gave you the infamous "tinglies":) I just didn't like him and he got lost in those emotions. I really needed to think of him as a suspect.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments Yes. My spidey sense was tingling and led me astray....

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments I thought Mora was too obvious a suspect, but Harry's sense was that something was really wrong there. Unfortunately, he discovered something else pretty disturbing.

I then followed along with the psychologist, but the newspaper reporter was a subconscious presence. I just wanted to like him and didn't want him to be a bad guy.

Exactly! I liked in the previous books.

Robin (robinmy) | 1214 comments I really didn't know who to suspect. Mora was too obvious to me. I really didn't even think about Locke being a possible suspect.
