5. What vibe were you getting from Locke? Did you see him as a suspect when Harry did or earlier?

Tracey (trakka) | 407 comments Now he was someone I was suspicious about! But I was wrong. I saw him as a suspect just a little bit before Harry.

I always got a bad vibe from him. There was just something "off" about him.

❆ Crystal ❆ (crystal_wright) I thought it was him from the moment that Harry went to his house late at night. Now, it makes sense that he was just nervous because he had a student there with him.

But he was casting off a vibe that we all picked up so we have an excuse:)

Agreed. There was something off about him that night and now we know it was the student he was sleeping with.

Jim O'Donnell | 48 comments I saw Locke as a suspect before Harry did. I was surprised Harry didn't suspect him sooner. The author creates some intrigue around Locke that can misdirect the reader . . . Harry smells pot but he doesn't see a joint, the pool water shows some movement but Harry doesn't see anyone else here, etc

I figured those occurrences to foreshadow that Locke is not what he presents, and thus he may be the copycat killer. But it turns out he was carrying on with the blonde student!
