Read between 2011- 2013. Prologue is an old man in the hospital, speaking Greek? with a piece of paper in his pocket. 2 main characters (1 Caucasian, 1 African American) ex-military? CIA? hired to locate stolen ancient artifact. Woman seeks them out at an event, they find items in her apartment, neighbor woman doesn't like her. There are several books with these characters. I think this one contained a cave where the item was kept? found? I believe the author was a male.

Historical. This one dealt with an artifact from an ancient civilization I believe
