He nodded and was about to step back but instead, he stepped forward and pressed a kiss to her forehead before walking to the car to Katy.

Kylee was at the waterfalls with a picnic waiting for him to come. She heard the water. Everything was so nice.

When he finally arrived he waved to his friend and came up to Kylee. He was cautious but not cold to her anymore, "hey."

She smiled. "Hi Dave." She said. She couldn't help but smiled in front of him. She was so happy to be near him.

"Hi Kylee," he said and sat down on the blanket. "I would have bought the picnic myself but I can't afford it," he admitted.

"No it's fine my parents told me to help myself as they are leaving for my dad's surgery today" She said. "It's fine Dave. "

"How is your dad?" He asked softly and sat.

"He's tired a lot but there is no chance he will die with this surgery which is really great. He isn't really good with bed rest. I have been helping him run the business as has mom she needs to rest too." She said.

He nodded and stared ahead at the waterfalls, "that's great." He smiled a bit at the thought of Mr. Grey changing from his workaholic habits.

She smiled some and nodded. She looked at him. "Yeah it is. How are you doing my mom said you were in rehab but that's it." She said.

"Yes I was," he admitted, "i overdosed on Heroine." He explained, "they managed to save me but I made the choice to go when your parents offered to pay." He looked at her, "I owe them my life."

"I'm still going it's doing really good im still on this pills they gave me." She said.

He smiled and stretched a bit.

She blushed some. "So maybe if you want you could come stay with me I'm lonely since my parents are gone?"

He looked at her, "they didn't leave you with anyone?" He asked.

She shook her head no. "No Teddy is gone to California with Abby and I'm here alone." She said.

He nodded, "i'll stay with you."

He nodded, "so what do we have here?" He asked as he opened up the picnic basket and peered inside. "Nutella!" He said triumphantly as he got one out. He loved nutella.

"Yes I remembered that. And there's sandwiches, pasta salad, Marconi salad, devil eggs, potato salad, fruit salad, and some brownies. Oh and cookies." She looked down she made a lot of food but she would eat left overs.

He nodded, "you went full on out and over this ship, huh?" He shook his head with a smile as he ruffled through it. "What would you like?" He asked.

"Um I will start off with a little bit of everything. There is also water and coke in there." She said with a smile.

He nodded and started to take out one of everything.

"You're welcome," he smiled and started to eat his nutella sandwich.

He smiled a bit as he ate.
