Editions combined in error?

I just very recently got librarian status and really have no idea how to proceed.

The original editions of A Matter of Time #1 and A Matter of Time #2 have been combined with a new edition - A Matter of Time, Vol 1 which contains both of these books. The same thing was also done with the original editions of A Matter of Time #3 and A Matter of Time #4 which were combined in a new edition - A Matter of Time, Vol 2 which contains both of these books.

I originally thought it was just a problem with the title or series title and made a minor change on the first 2 editions but as soon as I realized there was a bigger problem, I reversed my changes.

Also, when you click on the "other edition" button for these books, all previous editions now have the same cover.

(I checked the librarian changes log and it was the author, Mary Calmes, that made these changes. Do we fix something the author has changed? And if so, how?)

Yes, the editions covers should not have been modified, so you would revert the change.

For numbering the volume 1 would be listed as 1-2 in the series numbering, and so forth.

I will take a look at the series and see what is going on.

OK, should be all fixed. May have missed a few minor reversions, but I think all the books have the right covers and titles.

Also, The books have been separated and combined, and added to the series with the appropriate numbering.

Flagged a bunch of edits, now hopefully they will stay the way they are, but we will see. I would not be surprised to see a certain someone change stuff again.

My goodness! You certainly deserve the title of Super-Librarian! There are 4 pages of corrections you had to make! (I peeked:) I can make teeny-tiny corrections but absolutely nothing on that grand scale! Thanks ever so!
