My name is Federico and I'm from Italy, I'm new to goodreads and to the group. I enjoy reading and my favorite writer is by far Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, I love Sherlock Holmes canon, but I really like some apocryphal books about Holmes as well. Other genres that I'm fond of reading are Science Fiction and Fantasy (right now I'm reading The Restaurant at the End of the Universe by Douglas Adams). As regards thriller and mystery, I'm reading The testament by Grisham but I don't really like it, I hope this group will help me find something I like more.

Try TWISTED REASONS (GOODREADS). It has all 4&5 * reviews. Do you know THE THIRD MAN - the great little book by Graham Greene and the Carol reed film based on it? Well, TWISTED REASONS is influenced by it, at least in the beginning. Enjoy!
Twisted reasons looks interesting, I'll read it as soon as I can. I have heard something about M. Connelly by a friend once, but never read anything by him. I'll appreciate If you have any suggestion about which book I should read first among his work. I've never read anthing by Kellerman
Federico; If you read Connelly; try to read him in order, as there is a story within a story.http://www.michaelconnelly.com/extras...
I also like Lisa Gardner ( in order, too)
Welcome. There are so many authors' to chose from! As for recommendations, it depends if you like "cozy", police procedural, PIs, cops, etc. I discovered new authors by doing this groups' UN and USA Book Challenge.
