My main issue with this is, as this is extremely short, there are no pages enough for the reader to actually engage with the characters (which are not that engaging to start with), and it ends with a cliffhanger. I didn't think the cliffhanger was that strong, to be honest.

Hi Everyone! Sorry to join the party late. :) Finally got to this book last night and it was definitely a short read.

This book definitely left lots of questions for me. I agree with Tati that this book was very short. It felt like more setting up all the pieces and mystery for future books. I hope in the next book, we get more character development with Silas and Charlie. :) even if they don't get their memories back they can still be more engaging.

I agree, the book is too short that I don't even sympathize with the characters. I also don't enjoy the plot at all. I'm not really that excited for the next book.

Silas is kinda okay for me, even thou he's a masochist and comes out as stupid but I guess that's how much he loves Charlie, but I really don't like Charlie!

I think Ezra might have something to do with it because she washed Silas's sheets and didn't even say anything... And probably the shrimp too since running into her was the last thing either of them remembers. But it happened twice before so who knows... Omg so many questions lol

I seem to have liked it more than most people on here. I get what you mean about the characters but I'm more interested in the mystery anyway so I guess it doesn't bother me as much. I do like them and hope they end up together though but yall are right there really isnt enough time to really get to know them. It didn't really bother me while reading it though lol I loved it! And I think it would make a really good show

I have to admit I like that they are so uncertain about what happened. And please let's not forget the dark humour in the book. "I think my mom might be a bitch."
