One of my favorite books and my favorite horror themed book. Chen Ge, the protagonist, is probably one of the nicest protagonists out there. He is sympathetic and kind to ghosts. This is good for people who don’t want to read about a heartless maniac killer.

Chen Ge uses his phone to manage his haunted house and accepts new tasks. The majority of the novel is spent undertaking different tasks in haunted locations and the protagonist is a calm and collected person.

When I read the book I actually felt scared, especially during the night. It’s nice seeing Chen Ge uncover mysteries and get new ghosts for his haunted house.

A part of the book I enjoy is when Chen Ge adds new sections to his haunted house from tasks he completed and new visitors coming in and underestimating the house and inevitably getting scared.

I would highly recommend reading the book as its insanely well written and enjoyable to read.
