SREADER | 25 comments Book starts out in the Garden of Eden, but explores the world as if Adam and Eve never sinned. Read in a classroom one chapter each day, but due to an illness, the last few chapters were missed so I don’t know the book’s outcome.

SREADER | 25 comments Correction of plot:

Reporter meets an alien named Marcus, who is a son of Adam and Eve from another planet, where Adam and Eve never sinned. Marcus travels to earth with alien technology that can get sound out of inanimate objects to hear historical conversations. His goal is to prove to Earth who Jesus is.

I can't remember all the details of this book, but basically some space-travellers from Earth visit another planet.
On this planet the forbidden fruit was never picked and their whole society, while advanced is still essentially Eden-like. The plot involves a subset of society lobbying that it is time to sample the fruit.

SREADER, I added a few details to the header at the top of the page, so your book might be recognized from that description alone. Many members only read the headers.

You can update it by clicking the small "edit" link after the header. This only works on the full Desktop website - not the Mobile website or app. (On the Mobile website, there's a "Desktop version" link at the bottom of the page.)

No Man in Eden is a mind-stretching journey into God's other worlds, the story of a young husband-wife love wedged apart by strange phenomena and a trip beyond the quasars. David Koehler, who sights an extraterrestrial spaceship, is taken aboard it and is soon fighting for his life and his sanity. Returned to Earth the next day, the enigmatic Arco Corporation's tentacles creep out to trap him, and his beautiful Charlotte cannot understand David's new frame of reference.

Later, in a billions-of-light-years trip, David Koehler sees and senses things beyond human understanding. What if Adam and Eve had never sinned? What could earth be like without evil? David searches for his way back to Charlotte through a creation which shows the full energies of God at work—crisply, imaginatively painted—and through fallen worlds of unspeakable tragedies.
