Book starts out in the Garden of Eden, but explores the world as if Adam and Eve never sinned. Read in a classroom one chapter each day, but due to an illness, the last few chapters were missed so I don’t know the book’s outcome.

Correction of plot:Reporter meets an alien named Marcus, who is a son of Adam and Eve from another planet, where Adam and Eve never sinned. Marcus travels to earth with alien technology that can get sound out of inanimate objects to hear historical conversations. His goal is to prove to Earth who Jesus is.

Starforce Red AlertI can't remember all the details of this book, but basically some space-travellers from Earth visit another planet.
On this planet the forbidden fruit was never picked and their whole society, while advanced is still essentially Eden-like. The plot involves a subset of society lobbying that it is time to sample the fruit.
Don’t think either of these are the one I’m looking for. Anyone else?
Was it read to you at a religious school?What age group do you think the book was for, kids, teens, or adults?
It was read to my husband at a Christian school during his class in the fall of 1971.
He thinks it was probably a teen/adult targeted book
