What about these books makes them a series?
Do they have characters in common?

T. | 743 comments I honestly have no idea. I asked the author if I had to read the first two before reading the third and they said no. I can ask them what makes it a series per your rules if you want.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If the books do not share a "world" with the same characters in this case, it would not be a series.

T. | 743 comments Suzi, this is what the author told me:

"The series deals with same four men. Each the son of a British Duke. They meet in school as young boys and form a bond that continues into manhood. Each book examines a separate man's journey on the path to love and redemption."
