Anyone having any luck with Submission in english? Today The Guardian reported that a UK version will be coming out in September! Ridiculous. It was the same with The Map- UK version first. Publishers are really dropping the ball on this.

Finally got my UK version (thank you Amazon). Excellent book, Houellebecq's best. He is definitely getting better with age. Submission is filled with a lot of philosophy, literary history and some sex but nothing shocking or controversial. The main character isn't even detestable.
