Our fiction selection is The Exiles of Crocodile Island. Apologies, there doesn't seem to be much in the way of a publisher description:

The story of a community of children torn from their homes by the Inquisition and their defiant struggle to keep their faith.

I finished this a few days ago. It's not a book I likely would have come across had it not been selected here. I must say I was totally unaware of this history. It's more a young adult novel but I would certainly recommend it to people to learn about his seemingly lost piece of history.

That is good to hear; I want to read this but didn't manage to get to it yet. I wonder who else has read it?
