At first, all I could say was, ‘Wow!’ and then, I wondered? What might the effect of this technology be on our bodies? Better or worse than carrying cell phone in our pockets ? What is the larger multi-dimensional significance of such a development? Is it the next step in our learning to use our bodies in seemingly miraculous ways.
Yesterday, these bracelets were fantasy images of the future. Today, they require technology; tomorrow will we claim then as our own.
Yesterday, we were separated by time and space; it took days or hours to speak across cross-oceanic cables to folks on the other side of the world or weeks of slow sea travel to journey from America to Europe. Today, we communicate in seconds and travel in hours. Tomorrow, will we access our innate abilities to communicate telepathically Yesterday, we died from invisible airborne germs….Tomorrow, will we live hundreds of years as life-extending machines and life enhancing supplements become the norm?
Yesterday, we went to the movies to see still, silent and then vocal, movie pictures. Today we see each other across the airwaves on our cell phones and computers; tomorrow will we merely think it and a new device will make it happen? Are these precursors of the world of the future, enabling us to imagine and even experience a different world? Today, we need a machine to make these ‘miracles’ occur. Tomorrow, will we claim these gifts as our innate newly revealed abilities?
