In this follow-up book to her first one, Kondo has lots of repetition, but strangely enough, I didn't find it annoying, I found it more reinforcing. I kept thinking of how daunting the task of tidying up my own house is; even though my daughter and I have pretty much decided we're going to do this, it's going to be a lot of work. But somehow reading the same things felt more like encouragement, and reading about how bad other people's homes have been is also relieving, because it gives me hope for succeeding with mine. The drawings are cute and helpful in showing how to fold clothes. I'm gonna have to find the TV series and watch as well so I know what I'm doing.

We've started watching it! We started on our clothes yesterday and got rid of four 45-gallon garbage bags of clothes so far.
