I read this book last year and I'm not really sure about the genre but I think it's part of a series.All I know is Hero runs some kind of security firm with his friends where they help people get away with murders and the Heroine lives in a famous postcode/zip code for very rich people.She is married to an abusive son of a known (sleazy) politician in the book. She snapped and kills the husband after another round of abuse and calls the hero's company first who arrived and directed her on what to do and how to act next.They cleaned up,made sure the death would not be traced to her before calling the police.The Hero stays with Heroine where they fall in love until after the ordeal.She is very timid due to abuse,doesn't like her father in law and has no friends
