“Please, Asher?” she asks, “Why do you hate it when I heal you so much?”

“Because. What if it hurts the baby? Just don’t” he says pulling his shirt back on
“It wouldn’t hurt the baby,” Izzy tells him, looking a bit hurt, “But fine.”
Asher runs a hand through his hair. “I’m sorry...”
“I just want to know why you won’t ever let me,” she whispers, “I just want to help you because I don’t like it when you’re hurt...”
“I don’t like it either, but it’ll be okay. If it was a broken bone I would but it’s just a bruise” he whispers
“At least let me heal your knuckles and lip?” she asks.
Izzy nods. Her thumb starts to glow and she gently brushes it over his lip, healing it. “What if I don’t heal the rest, I just make it hurt less?”
Asher thinks. “Just my fists”
Iz sighs but nods. She takes his hands and looks at them. “Please let me heal them, Asher.”
Asher sighs. “Okay. But then it’s rest for the entire day”
“It’s not as tiring as it used to be,” she tells him, brushing her hands over his. When she’s done his knuckles are healed.
Asher nods. He gets up. “I’m gonna shower”
"Okay, I'll shower after, unless you don't mind me joining you?"
Asher shakes his head. “You can join”
She walks into the bathroom, taking off her clothes and climbing in.
Asher takes his off too. He gets in and tips his head against the wall
He nods. “Yeah.” He says washing his hair
"Here, why don't you let me?" she volunteers.
Iz wets his hair, then gets some shampoo and massages it in.
"You like this?" she asks with a slight smile.
"Close your eyes, I have to rinse it out," she whispers.
Iz rinses the shampoo out of his hair. "Do you want me to do the rest, or do you want to?"
She gets soap and washes the rest of him off, being careful with his bruised torso.
Asher looks at her. “Your turn”
Still smiling, she nods, getting her hair wet.
Asher gets soap and washes her hahr
Asher gently washes it out
He nods. “Here” he says washing her back

“Thanks for the help, babe,” she says with a smile.
