Kay starts backing away from her. "No," he says again.

“Please don’t be like me,” Iz begs him, desperate, “I just want you to be safe. Would you rather end up in the hospital again?”

"That's the thing, Iz! I'm not like you! I'm worse! And I deserve this!" says Kay, spiraling again.

Archie gets up and hugs Kay.
“Shh it’s alright baby. Deep breaths. We just want to clean them okay? Then we can snuggle”

“I-I’ll go now…” Iz says.

“No Izzy.” He said looking at her. He looked pleading

“I-I don’t think Kay really wants me here,” she whispers.

Archie looks at her. He looks like he might need help

Izzy sighs quietly and nods. “Okay, I’ll stay a bit longer.”

"I don't want you to clean them. I don't want it," insists Kay, pulling away from Archie and backing up some more towards the bathroom.

Archie gives Izzy the cloth and towels. He sits down on the bed and motions for kay to come over. His bloody shirt was sitting in the laundry bin.

Iz hates the way Kay was looking at her, but gently takes his arm.

Izzy blinks back tears as she brings the cloth to his arm and gently starts cleaning the cuts. I don't know if just water will be enough...

Kay whimpers quietly and tightens his grip on Archie's hand.

More tears come to Izzy's eyes when she hears him whimper, hating what she's about to say. "Kay... I don't think water's gonna be enough..."

Kay's eyes widen. "What do you mean?"

Iz hesitates. "Do you have any hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alcohol?" she asks after a second.

At this, Kay jumps up again, then goes and locks himself in the bathroom, remembering how much it hurt last time Archie used hydrogen peroxide on his wounds.

"Kay please," Izzy begs, "I don't want you to end up in the hospital again. Please. For me?"

"It's gonna hurt really bad, though," Kay argues from the other side of the bathroom door.

[Maya]

"If you leave it, it'll just get more infected and it'll hurt even more when doctors do it," she argues back.

"How do you know it's gonna get infected?" says Kay stubbornly.

[Maya]

"It already looks like it's getting a bit infected, Kay," Iz tells him gently, "That's why I need to use something stronger than water."

"But... But..." Kay doesn't have another argument. "Do we have to, Iz?" he finally asks.

[Maya]

"Would you rather go to the hospital?" she asks him.

Kay huffs but opens the door and pokes his head out. "Fine."

"You go sit on Archie's lap again, I'll find the hydrogen peroxide," Iz tells Kay.

Kay frowns but goes over and sits next to Archie, pouting somewhat.

"It'll be over before you know it," Izzy says, speaking to him as she would to a little kid about to get their shots. She goes and gets the hydrogen peroxide and a clean cloth before walking back over to Kay.
